is bible based and encourages biblical understanding;

is active in proclaiming the gospel and deepening personal faith;

welcomes and accepts people as they are, is supportive and, where possible, ensures that members live in peace and harmony with one another; 

promotes integration, togetherness and social activities.

 

 

BRINGING GLORY TO GOD involves

 

ensuring that our worship and life together, as Christians, is governed and directed by the Holy Spirit;

enabling everyone to recognise and value the gift of God in every person;

growing in Christian maturity;

personal and collective responsibility for the environment, Church buildings and grounds.

 

 

SERVING THE COMMUNITY means

 

loving our neighbours, understanding their situations and working to meet their needs;

working with others, where appropriate;

holding the community in prayer;

having a visible presence within the parish;

furthering mission and evangelism;

making effective use of Church buildings and grounds.

 

 

HOLDING GOD’S WORLD IN PRAYER entails

 

sustained prayer, both individually and collectively;

listening to God and expecting that prayers will be answered according to his will;

developing a genuine concern for humanity and the whole of creation;

identifying need and responding to situations and events.
