Please help our local church with urgent roof repairs

We are reaching out to you today with an urgent request to help preserve a vital part of our community—St. Laurence Church in Barkingside. Our beloved church, a cornerstone of faith, community, and heritage, is in dire need of a new roof. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise the necessary funds to ensure our church remains a safe and welcoming place for all. We do not receive any government support or grants, so we need to raise the funds ourselves.

We will be putting in a substantial amount of funds ourselves but still require some much needed help.

The Urgent Need

Recently, we discovered significant damage to our church roof. Without immediate repairs, we risk further deterioration of the structure, which could lead to closure and the loss of a vital community resource. The cost of replacing the roof is substantial, and we cannot do it alone. We estimate the total cost to be in excess of £100,000.
