the Gathered Church
WHAT TO EXPECT
Everyone is welcome to join us on Sundays. We are a mixture of young and old. The thing that unites us is that we are all sinners and need Jesus. There is no dress code at the church. Most people do not "dress-up" to come to church.
On Sundays due to COVID we have one service on Sunday at 10am. It is as service of Holy Communion. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible there is no communal singing and communion is only received in the form of bread. We are not able to offer provision for children at our service - however families are still very welcome to join us.
We do not take up an offering at our services. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the church then there is a giving plate at the back of the church.
Before the current pandemic we held two services on Sunday,
The 9am was a traditional service that follows either the Book of Common Prayer or Common worship. This is either in traditional language or modern language following a set pattern. The service includes traditional hymns.
The 10.30am service was informal and contemporary in style, with music led by a band, incorporating space to meet with God and allow Him to minister to us. The children and young people have their own activities.
